Friends of Literacy is celebrating 25 years of serving the Knoxville community.
Join us in celebrating this momentous occasion by attending the Literacy Luau on July 22 nd at the home of Eddie Mannis.
The Literacy Luau promises to be THE not-to- be-missed charity event in Knoxville this summer. The night’s festivities will include a delectable island-themed dinner prepared by Sweet P’s and an open bar featuring a selection of wine and beer as well as a delicious, signature island cocktail. The evening’s entertainment will keep you on your feet with the Carib Sounds Steel Drum Band and illuminate the evening with poi fire spinning and hula performances from the Polynesian Paradise Dancers.
Enjoy the beautiful atmosphere that only Eddie Mannis’ garden can provide and say “aloha” to our hosts, Whitney & Nathan Woods, Harrison Smith, Bob Thomas, Andrew J. Roberto, Janice & Rudy McKinley, Katie Bell Kline, Kim Henry, Sid Gilreath, Jonathan Ford, Mary Fran Darwin, Eric Botts and Mike Baker.
